Cake's own music may have become one-note and staid a while ago, but the band has at least done good for the music industry through its Unlimited Sunshine tours. Past incarnations have helped introduce bands like Modest Mouse, Gogol Bordello, and the Flaming Lips to wider audiences. This year, Cake is taking more bands that should be bigger out on the road with them including Oakley Hall, Brazilian Girls, and Detroit Cobras.
