Seattle’s long-running (since 1971) Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival has announced the lineup for this year’s event, which will take place at the Seattle Center over Labor Day weekend, Sep. 1-3. Some of the lineup’s big names include Skrillex, M83, Passion Pit, Jane’s Addiction, Low, M. Ward, The Vaselines, The Promise Ring, The Jayhawks, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and local heroes Mudhoney.
Tony Bennet, Blitzen Trapper, Big Sean and Mac Miller will also be at the fest alongside The Greenhornes with Eric Burdon, The Helio Sequence, Why?, THEESatisfaction, Ty Segall, Blitzen Trapper, Heartless Bastards, Wanda Jackson, Lee Fields and the Expressions, Omar Souleyman, Damian Jurado, thenewno2, Oberhofer, Fujiya & Miyagi, LP, King Khan and the Shrines, City and Colour, and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit.
Tickets are available now. You can buy a three-day pass for $110 as well as single-day passes for $40 each. Not a bad deal for music fans that want the ecelctic experience of seeing Skrillex, Tony Bennet, Ty Segall and THEESatisfaction in one go around. [CoS]
