Bult to Spill at work on new album

Pitchfork is reporting that Built to Spill have already begun work on the follow-up to this years You in Reverse. This is pretty surprising news, since the album just came out in April, and especially since it took five years to get You in Reverse after Ancient Melodies of the Future. Surprising or not, according to Warner the band has been in and out of the studio when their touring schedule permits it. Theres been no talk of a release date or anything similarly concrete as-yet.

Speaking of touring though, the band has another leg set to begin in mid-September. Dates are as follows:
