Before Built To Spill releases its seventh studio album next spring, the band will tour this fall, during which Martsch and company will perform Perfect From Now On in its entirety. One more  of these performing-a-classic-album things, and we got a trend. Oh, wait. We do.

Billboard reports that Built To Spill has finished recording the basic tracks. Martsch said the recording sessions have been more collaborative than ever because it is using Pro Tools over analog tape. As for the Perfect performances, the band will dig into other songs in its catalog. "I started to listen to Perfect and made it halfway through, and I realized it's real slow," he said. "We'll need some rockers to even out the tempos." [Billboard]
