Not a band to rush into the studio, Built To Spill have put off any immediate plans to record, and decided to tour the West Coast and the South from late February through March.
Doug Martsch told LiveDaily that they’re making progress on a new album, but they’re moving at turtle speed. "I'd almost say we're ready to make a record, except almost everything is kind of slow. I haven't quite been able to figure out if that's just what it is and we'll do it, or if we need to put more upbeat songs into it."
The pride of Boise, Idaho, released You in Reverse in the spring of 2006. Before that, we hadn’t heard from them since 2001’s Ancient Melodies of the Future.
