Perhaps because the Jay-Z pick from last year is still causing people to complain bitterly about hip-hop and its place in Britain, or perhaps because he is, after all, the Boss, Glastonbury officials have announced that Bruce Springsteen will be this year's Glastonbury headliner.

Springsteen has been rumored as the headliner for the festival (which is already sold out) for a few weeks, but today it is official. The fest goes down on June 26-June 28. [NME]
