Bruce Springsteen Leads Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert

Hurricane Sandy left a path of destruction and upturned lives in its wake this week, and already there's a planned benefit concert to help those affected by the powerful natural disaster. "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" will air on Friday, Nov. 2 at 8 PM EST on NBC, Bravo, CNBC, USA, MSNBC, and E!, and on NBC.com, Today.com, and NBCNews.com. Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera and Jimmy Fallon are among the confirmed performers for the event, and NBC's Matt Lauer and Brian Williams will also make appearances.

Money raised from the concert will go directly towards the American Red Cross's Hurricane Sandy relief, which is providing food, shelter, and other help for those affected. To date, you can visit RedCross.org, call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. [Cos]

Update: The telethon will be simulcast on Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Radio on SiriusXM.
