Britney Spears, who has just been cleared of child abuse allegations stemming from an anonymous complaint filed against her in Los Angeles, will perform her new single "Gimmie More" and another new track, "Cry," at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards. The performance will reportedly feature an onstage illusion, designed by magic douchebag extraordinaire Criss Angel, where the singer will disappear in a mirror. Hey, it's gotta be better than the original trick they planned, the one where she juggled a bunch of babies. Here's to hoping she never reappears.
