Friends and associates of Britney Spears have advice to save the troubled pop star: don't buy her album. They have launched a campaign wherein they encourage fans not to purchase her forthcoming record Blackout until the star has reformed her current bad habits.ÂÂ The argument is that the record labels, publishing houses, and music televisions that make money off the distressed diva have turned a blind eye to her self-destruction. The effort has its own MySpace page reading, "Save the pop star, Save the world."ÂÂ While the correlation between Britney Spears and the world at large is vague, one supportive fan commented on Sunday, "The more they hate her... the more it shows that she must be some kind of Goddess who is better by far than everyone else."
