Britney: Not Number One

Thanks, Dad. Turns out Britney Spears is not going to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 '' the Eagles are. Billboard has made it official today, announcing that the Eagles''' Long Road to Eden, originally not counted as a result of it being sold exclusively at Wal-Mart and Sam'''s Club stores, would in fact qualify for the chart.
Of course, more significantly perhaps, this knocks a certain Federline-divorcee off her would-be perch: The Brit-Bot'''s Blackout will now chart in at #2. Before the conspiracy theories start rolling in, however, it should be noted that this ''"battle''" wasn'''t even close: The Eagles sold 711,000 copies, while Britney, despite surprisingly positive reviews, managed only 290,000 in first-week sales. A girl can dream.

I'm sorry, but does anyone else find it hysterically funny that the name of her record right now is BLACKOUT?
