Brian Wilson To Reunite With Beach Boys For 50th Anniversary

It turns out all those Mike Love-produced rumors weren't just rumors, they were fact: Brian Wilson has decided to bury the hatchet with his Beach Boys brethren, and is reuniting with the still-alive members of the band for their 50th anniversary next year. The band--Mike Love, Wilson, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks-- is planning a massive tour next year, and has started recording a new album. In addition, there will be tons of reissues of early Beach Boys albums next year, along with a box set. The details are sort of vague and early at this point, but the band's first date is in April at the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Expect the year of Beach Boys retrospection to begin around then. [P4K
