Brian Eno Announces New Album ‘LUX’

It’s been seven years since the godfather of ambient graced us with new solo music, but Brian Eno will be returning yet again this November with a brand new album. His next effort, entitled LUX, is due out from Warp Records November 13.

In terms of scope, LUX will be a step above 2005’s synthy, song-based Another Day On Earth, with its four tracks stretching to a total of 75 minutes. According to the label, the album’s music “evolved from a work currently housed in the Great Gallery of the Palace of Venaria in Turin, Italy.” Expect plenty of heady, synesthetic ambience to be contained within these four tracks, which are allegedly divided further into 12 movements.

Check out the track list below:

    01. LUX 1 (19:22)
    02. LUX 2 (18:14)
    03. LUX 3 (19:19)
    04. LUX 4 (18:28)
