Breaking News: Marilyn Manson is "Controversial"

It must be hard being Marilyn Manson--what with having to put on makeup all the time, having to wear corsets, and always trying top your past "controversies." That last bit has provided the thrust for Manson's new album, The High End of Low, which just had its track list leaked. The album features such "controversial" ditties as "Pretty as a Swastika," "I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies," "Leave a Scar," and "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon," which would probably be hilarious if it wasn't so stupid. It's not like Manson's a poet or anything, but jeesh, the only reaction those song titles should get is embarrassment from Manson himself.

 

The High End of Low is due out on May 26. Here's the full track list:

I think it's amusing when people mock others, but leave grammatically incorrect statements in their work. I think what you mean to say was, "trying to top..." not "trying top...". Maybe you should check your writing before you post hate for a man that has always made incredible music. Just because you think that his shocking antics are lame, doesn't mean you can be a d-bag about what song titles he chooses. This is the first album in a while with Mr. Twiggy Ramirez and it is sure to be incredible. Again, check your grammar if you're going to be a d ick.

Manson is dark and sexy and violent. That is why Eat Me was not so good, it was just dark. That is also why High End will be great.

You people are pure morons. Eat Me, Drink Me was a terrible album. It isn't "Marilyn Manson". It was a love story with 3 filler songs thrown in. "WOW" has NOTHING to do with that garbage game World of Warcraft. Those song names for The High End of Low aren't embarrasing. You can't judge this album before it even hits shelves. Ever heard the term, "Don't judge a book by it's cover"?? Fools...

Eat me,drinkme,love me, laura make much of me . this comes from a poem called goblins market. marilyn made a beautiful album in 08 and although i have been a fan for 14 plus years i look forward to what his overly rebellious capricorn mind will come up with next. if as a people you long for 1996 again maybe everyone should go home put antichrist superstar on repeat and never leave a dark room. the world changes daily both physically and metaphysically so lets all try to be more receptive to our potential and that of others
