In one of the most predictable and hokiest blow-outs in his history as an outburst machine, Brandon Flowers recently popped off about actors becoming singers:
"If you're an actor, you have no business making an album, no matter how good you sound when you sing in the shower."
I suppose he has a point re: Eddie Murphy, Scarlett Johannson and Don Johnson, but is it possible to be critical of movie stars who have musical projects signed off on by labels who release their albums (which is something people forget; it's not like Eddie Murphy self-released his album) when you once wrote all of the lyrics on all of The Killers albums? You be the judge. [Spinner]
Actors shouldn't be singers, unless they have some mind-blowing talent, and none of them do. I'd be proud if I wrote The Killers' songs.

I'd be proud if'd shat on their dreams before they recorded any of them...
Though I agree, Brandon Flowers is also one of the douchiest guys in modern rock history.
