In an item really better suited for Hot Mess News Daily, Boy George has written a song about Amy Winhouse. The ex-Culture Club lead singer told NME that he composed the song during the four months he served in prison for assaulting and falsely imprisoning a man earlier this year. Although the two have only met once (when, in a totally unrelated note, they discussed their mutual love for the Crystals' Girl Group classic "He Hit Me (And it Felt Like A Kiss)"), George was moved enough by Ms. Winehouse to draft an ode. Per NME:
The song, which is titled, "Your Pain Makes a Beautiful Sound," features the lyrics: "You're a genius, you're a car crash/It's hard to say what you do best."
This is likely not the last we'll be hearing from the singer, since he claims to have written much more music during his time in jail. [NME]
