Bowie face mask used in film for sale

A replica mask of David Bowie’s face that was made for the film, “The Hunger,” is for sale at 991.com, Drowned In Sound reports.

Bowie starred in the 1983 vampire film with Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon, in which he and Deneuve prey upon urban clubgoers. The mask of the Thin White Duke’s visage was used to test makeup and is “amazingly detailed with every wrinkle & pore evident & would look amazing mounted.” It’s currently priced at $1,019.70. Jeez, ground control to major rip off. [Drowned In Sound]

Only a ripoff if you're not obsessed with The Hunger. I want this.
