We have some bad news for anyone looking to check out Rock The Bells this Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Comcast Center in Boston*, Mass. The hip-hop festival has been postponed two weeks until Sept. 24. According to AllHipHop's interview with Rock The Bells founder Chang Weisberg, the event was pushed back "[d]ue to scheduling conflicts beyond our control. He then said that there have been "three spectacular festival shows this summer in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York." And he "anticipate[s] finishing the season with another great show."
All tickets to the original date will be honored, so that means you won't have to miss out on, say, Nas performing the entirety of Illmatic or Raekwon and Ghostface Killah tackling all of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Be patient, New Englanders, you're time will come.
*I know it's in Mansfield, Mass., but the festival page labeled it as Boston, so that's what I went with.
