Boss Hog: Don't call it a comeback...ATP and more

It's not technically a reunion, since they never officially broke up, but those O.G.'s of New York scum-rock Boss Hog are getting set to play their first shows in seven years. They'll be among the excellent company of the Melvins, Meat Puppets, and more at All Tomorrow's Parties UK's Nightmare Before Christmas the weekend of December 5, as well as making an additional London appearance on the 8th. But don't sweat it, U.S. Hogheads, for once the Yanks have got the upper hand -- Jon Spencer, Cristina Martinez and company will be playing this side of the pond first, hitting Maxwells in Hoboken on the 3rd. So does this sudden spurt of activity mean the band is finally getting set to release a follow-up to 2000's Whiteout album? If so, fans will surely be eager to admire whatever Martinez isn't wearing on the cover.

Man, I f*cking love this band. May be my favorite Jon Spencer project. Am so looking forward to this.
