Booka Shade shines a light on new album, tour news

German dance duo Booka Shade is set to return with a new album, The Sun and the Neon Light, on May 27. The album will get a release from Get Physical. Early reports have the follow-up to 2006's Movements being a horizon-expanding affair for Booka Shade. The usual club-ready tunes are there, but so are lush orchestration ("Outskirts"), Latin rhythms ("Comacabana"), and even country-pop ("Dusty Boots").

Booka Shade has a few North American tour dates in late April leading up to the band's appearance at Coachella. After that, the group will tour Europe extensively, with one more quick trip over here in late July.
