
It looks like Bono's back surgery doesn't just affect U2's tour plans as Interpol, the band's supporting act during its Euro tour, has postponed its American swing with the exception of four Northeastern dates according to Consequence of Sound. Still, Interpol is expected to open for U2 on the latter's fall tour which takes them from Paris to Rome.
On their website, Interpol says, "We lament the change in plans, apologize for the inconvenience, and assure you that we'll do you right - when the time is right and the light is nice." See revised itinerary below:
