Bono Waits Three Years to Offer Bush Apology For Hug Snub, Insinuates Obama Can Be a Little Catty

Bono could be one of the guiltiest people on the planet, but there's also a chance that he is an undercover agent of the Republican party. There are few other scenarios to explain why U2's frontman is confessing to giving ex-President Bush the cold shoulder when he moved in for a hug at a prayer breakfast in 2006. He went on to say that then senator Barack Obama offered a snarky comment after witnessing the incident. This tidbit of information, offered during the apology, makes President Obama look a kind of cool, but also sound a little like Brenda from 90210. Despite Bono's contrition and Obama's supposed "cool" observation, the real question is what kind of rock star headlines a prayer breakfast for George W. Bush in the first place. [Yahoo]
