After so many years of leading a charmed life, it's possible Bono simply has no concept that he can fail (strange for a man who was once trapped in a giant lemon). In a recent interview, Bono still seemed high on his Spiderman musical, dropping the information that his Peter Parker is "kind of a slacker" and that the show will introduce a new female villian. He also had high praise for Evan Rachel Wood, saying that she "sings like a bird" and "brings the part of MJ to life." Maybe Bono is just trying to talk up the musical, which has been beset by problems, but it's more likely that he really believes his show about Spiderman is going to be great.
