Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, P.O.S., Megafaun, Rosebuds And Others Start New Group: Gayngs

Yesterday, Jagjaguwar announced the imminent arrival of Relayted, an album by a new band called Gayngs that features a small village worth of indie rock/rappers, including Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, members of Solid Gold, Megafaun and Rosebuds, rappers P.O.S. and Dessa and many more. The album is due out on May 11, and Jagjaguwar claims that it sounds like Bon Iver crossed with Bone Thugs-style R&B, which is basically the best way to describe anything ("This sandwich is meaty crossed with Bone Thugs-style R&B"). Let's just hope that's not an ironic joke, but the real deal.
