Bon Iver Tops Pitchfork's Top 50 Albums Of 2011

Pitchfork is about the last major publication to announce its top 50 albums of 2011, and it's gone ahead and done the same thing as a bunch of other publications: It's named Bon Iver's Bon Iver as the album of the year. It was the highest rated album on Pitchfork all year, so it's not that surprising, though it doesn't have the same "whoa" factor as picking the Knife's Silent Shout a few years ago.
