Earlier this week it was My Morning Jacket ripping through a cut off of Evil Urges, and today, the increasingly awesome Black Cab Sessions has Justin Vernon, he of Bon Iver fame, playing “Creature Fear” off of the stellar For Emma, Forever Ago. The Eau Claire, WI, native (I’ve been there. It’s all right I guess. They have a Target at least.), plays the track like he’s crying into a beer, then finishes it by the acoustics in the small cab were great.

Bon Iver heads out on the road at the end of July, starting with Pitchfork Festival, and plays dates throughout Canada and the U.S. until the end of August.
