Following his surprising Grammy wins on Sunday, Rolling Stone got Justin Vernon of Bon Iver to talk a little bit about who he'd like to collaborate with in the future, since he made special points during his acceptance speech to say there are a lot of bands out there who weren't awarded Grammys. And here's what he said:
"I've been listening to this band Polica from Minneapolis a lot lately," the 30-year-old singer tells Rolling Stone. "They're the best band I've ever heard."
Dude is obviously biased: He was in Gayngs with members of Polica. But still, it's funny to see the dude so geeked out about a little band from Minneapolis with one album to their name. He also says he wants to work with James Blake's engineers. Read that part over at RS.
Oh, and just a reminder, we're throwing a show with Polica on March 27. Info is over here.
