In front of a sold-out crowd at the original Fillmore in San Francisco Tuesday night, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver announced that his alter-ego/assembled touring band would go on hiatus.
"This is the last tour that we're doing with this thing, and after this we're going to take a break," Vernon told the audience. The touring group has developed full-band renditions of Bon Iver's songs from the more stripped-down studio recordings, For Emma, Forever Ago and Blood Bank.
No word on how long the break will be or whether Justin Vernon will use it to work on new Bon Iver material. [Spinner]
