Bon Iver, Thom Yorke, Grizzly Bear and Death Cab are all on the soundtrack for New Moon. We know this. There's no use crying over spilt indie rock heroes. But apparently, as part of the promotion for the soundtrack, as of yet unnamed contributors to the disc are going to be touring Hot Topic stores across this great nation to make sure tweens changing their personal aesthetic to "punk" know that New Moon is coming out.
Of course, this could mean Yorke, Bon Iver or Grizzly Bear could be performing next to a stack of studded belts in the near future. Those Death Cab dudes would probably be all about that, so I can't imagine they'll have nay problem with it. I can't see Yorke doing it--he doesn't need the promotion--but if the Grizz and Bon Iver do, a little piece of all of us would die. [Daily Swarm]
