‘Bob’s Burgers’ Gets Fourth Season

The Simpsons and Family Guy might get most of the attention during Fox’s Sunday night “Animation Domination,” but Bob’s Burgers is becoming a sleeper hit. It even received an Emmy nomination earlier this year. Fans of the show can rejoice, because the cartoon comedy, currently in its third season, isn’t going anywhere.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has ordered a fourth season of Bob’s Burgers with 22 new episodes. Kevin Reilly, entertainment chairman at Fox Broadcasting Co., showed his support: “We love Bob’s. We are really proud of the way the show has grown over the past few seasons — without losing the unique voice at its core — and we know that the best is yet to come for Bob’s Burgers and its fans.”

The series, about a quirky family running a burger restaurant, has a more understated sense of humor than a show like Family Guy, but it’s still laugh-out-loud funny, and its characters are extremely lovable. The show’s recent season premiere received a 2.3 rating for the 18-49 demographic.

Not only will Bob’s fans get another season; they’ll also get to test their celebrity voice-spotting skills this season with plenty of famous guest stars slated to lend their voices to the show. Those celebs include Jon Hamm, Zach Galifianakis and Sarah Silverman. Watch the preview for this week’s episode below.
