Bobby Womack Wants A Full Album With Lana Del Rey

Worlds collided earlier this year when soul superstar Bobby Womack teamed up with blog superstar Lana Del Rey for "Dayglo Reflection," off his Damon Albarn-produced 2012 comeback album, The Bravest Man In The Universe. Now Womack has intimated that he's not content with just one song--he wants to do an entire album with Del Rey.

"I would love to do a whole album with Lana," he told English newspaper The Sun. "Maybe I will get that chance, I’m putting it out there now." And with Albarn's assistance, that might not be such a bad idea.

In any case, Womack is having a landmark year. His album just won the Best Album prize at the 2012 Q Awards, a prestigious honor given by Q magazine, after debuting big in the UK following its June release. [NME]
