Bob Dylan’s New Album ‘Shadows in the Night’ To Be Released In 2015

    Bob Dylan is one of America’s greatest living music icons in part because of his near-constant stream of new music since the ’60s. According to Stereogum, the prolific folk singer-songwriter has confirmed via a note inside his latest The Bootleg Series release that his next studio album, Shadows in the Night, will debut in 2015. It follows 2012’s The Tempest.

    Earlier this year, Dylan released a cover of Frank Sinatra’s “Full Moon and Open Arms” that is expected to be on Shadows in the Night, which is being speculated as a covers album. While one of the most prolific singer-songwriters of all time releasing an album full of songs he didn’t write may seem a little odd, Dylan has always been enigmatic. It also recalls the artist’s strange holiday album from 2009, Christmas in the Heart.

    No other details about Shadows in the Night have been revealed, but in the meantime you can catch Dylan out on tour:
