Bob Dylan Recording Christmas Album

Bob Dylan has done a lot in his storied career, but he's never done a Christmas album. That is until now, as Billboard is reporting that the Bob is in the process of recording a Christmas album, and has already done his own versions of "Must Be Santa," "Here Comes Santa Claus," "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and "O Little Town of Bethlehem." Dylan is recording the album with hopes of it being out this year, which would make it his second full-length in 2009 (Together Through Life came out in April). As Billboard notes, it's a strange choice fo Dylan to do a Christmas album not only because he's Bob Dylan, but he was born a Jew (his real name is Robert Zimmerman). [Billboard]

Actually he has done a Christmas album before that was never released (in 1965). It was said to be all instrumental. If you follow Bob for long enough and know a lot about him, you find that many articles are inaccurate.
