Bob Dylan Concert From 1963 To Be Released As Album

There are few artists that have had their live performances, career stages, and “lost” tracks uncovered and released more than Bob Dylan. But apparently there was a recent rare find: Ralph Gleason, famed co-founder of Rolling Stone, has helped uncover a concert from 1963 that hasn’t been released in any capacity. It was recorded at Brandeis University’s First Annual Folk Festival on May 10, 1963, recorded two weeks before he released his Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan LP. It’s been touted as the “last performance before Bob Dylan was famous” which is true, I suppose. The album is due out on April 12 via Columbia. [Aux]
