As you no doubt already heard, Blur made their return to the live stage at last night's Brit Awards and you can watch a majority of their performance here if you haven't yet. But their mini-concert wasn't just a big deal for fans of the recently reunited Britpop quartet.
The band, too, had big reason to celebrate as they have seen a 2,700 percent increase in sales following the gig. That's according to Paul Firth, the manager of Amazon U.K.'s Music and MP3 department:
“While Adele is back at the top of the chart it was Blur who saw the biggest uplift in sales of CDs and MP3 downloads last night with a 2,700% increase following the ceremony with many of their fans from the ’90s looking to reconnect with the Britpop band.”
