The NME has started stoking a new reunion fire: This one for Brit-pop paragons Blur, who have confirmed that they are working on a new album, but according to the NME, the band is going to tour next year. Apparently someone at NME talked to Damon Albarn, who "hinted" at a tour (whatever that means) of points outside of the U.K., and they're saying it's possible a tour announcement is looming.
The band announced earlier this year that they're working on a new album, but they say it could be "six years" or so before the album is ready. So, take this for what it is: Yet another NME story about an "imminent" reunion that might be confirmed in six months-three years. [AV Club]
