The Blood Brothers, the experimental art-punk act out of Seattle, called it a career today on their MySpace page. Rumors of a break-up began circling in July of this year, though the band called the separation, "a hiatus." This marks the end of a ten-year career featuring five full-length albums and two EPs. The band thanked fans and fellow bands in a paragraph-long statement today saying, "Your friendship, support and love hold such a profoundly special place in each of our hearts. We hope that the memories you attach to our music are as fond as those you have given us."

Indeed! I can't recall too many concert experiences more fun than watching Johnny Whitney sashay across the stage. Blah. |
