Late last year, it was announced that Bloc Party frontman Kele Okerke was using the band's "hiatus" to record a solo album. A few months later, here's the details of the album: It's called The Boxer, and it's due on June 21 in the U.K. via Wichita, and the U.S. on June 22 via Glassnote. The album was produced by Spank Rock producer XXXChange, so expect a whole lot of booming, and possibly lascivious, electro-pop.
The first single, the awesomely titled "Tenderoni," is due out on June 14. Here's the rest of the track list:
Walk Tall
On the Lam
Tenderoni
The Other Side
Everything You Wanted
New Rules
Unholy Thoughts
Rise
All the Things I Could Never Say
Yesterday's Gone
