Bloc Party announces North American tour
Now that Bloc Party drummer Matt Tong has recovered from the collapsed lung he suffered back in November, the band is going to give touring North America another go. Once Bloc Party finishes up its upcoming dates in Europe and Japan, the band will make it's way back to this side of the Atlantic to tour throughout the majority of March. Accompanying the band on tour at various stops will be Final Fantasy, Albert Hammond Jr. and Sebastien Grangier (of DFA 1979 fame) among others. You can find the dates after the jump.

I'm sitting squarely on the fence. I honestly haven't listened to the album enough to feel that strongly about it either way yet. Some of the lyrics are just terrible though, even for Bloc Party.

I'm surprised no one wrote up the news about Kele stepping out of the closet.

I don't really consider that to be "news." I mean he didn't really say anything definitive one way or the other from what I understand and, more importantly, I really don't think it should make a difference whether he sleeps with dudes or chicks. I mean, it's 2007, if celebrities' sexual preferences are more than tabloid fodder at this point, then I'm uneasy over what that says about society.
