With so many great bands doing the damn thing over at Daytrotter lately, I could've sworn Blitzen Trapper had already put in one of the site's signature sessions since the release of the band's latest album, Wild Mountain Nation. But alas, the band had not. Until today. (And yes, if you want to get technical, all of this dating stuff isn't actually correct, as Daytrotter takes a while to get the Sessions up; Blitzen Trapper actually recorded this one back in July.) The raucous, rambling group puts in three tracks from Wild Mountain Nation: "Country Caravan," "Miss Spiritual Tramp," and "Badger's Black Brigade." The fourth song of the Session is "Jericho," a Wild Mountain Nation outtake. Hear it all here.
