Pop-punk icons blink-182 announced their reformation while presenting the award for Best Rock Album at the Grammys last night:
Additionally, a written statement has been issued by the band, stating that they are "picking up where we left off and then some," and launched a new webpage. The announcement also confirms that the group is in the studio and suggests that a new album from Mark, Tom and Travis can be expected in the summer of 2009. The record will be their first full-length release since their 2003 self-titled effort, while concerns as to whether they will stop appearing naked have not been addressed by the group at this time.
