Blender may be turned over to creditors

Here’s another “Oh my god, print journalism is in trouble!” story for you: Alpha Media, the publisher of Maxim and Blender, is in the middle of corporate restructuring talks that might end up in the company being turned over to creditors. Alpha Media was bought for $250 million in 2007 by Quadrangle Capital Partners, and Quadrangle, like every company since September, has experienced a serious downturn in its bottom line, and that the ad revenues for Blender and Maxim have been plummeting hasn’t helped either.
