In news sure to be upsetting for music fans concerned with lists and hotness, Blender might be on the way out. The magazine’s ad pages are down twenty-five percent, and the page count per issue has fallen to less than one hundred. In addition, Quadrangle Group, which publishes Blender, has shown little patience with underperforming publications, shuttering Stuff last year. The outlook is also dim for those hoping to get their dose of musical cheesecake in an online version of Blender, as the magazine’s top digital employee recently left after a five-month tenure on the magazine. Though the prospect of a Blender-less world may seem daunting, rest assured that even if one outlet for cheesecake is lost, many more will rush forth with Tila Tequila coverage. [The Daily Swarm]

Joe Levy seems like he made a very very bad decision. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. |

bring sheffield back to Rolling Stone where he belongs! |

sucks that Joe Levy and Rob Sheffield jumped ship at RS for Blender when it's hardly worth saving.
