Black Star, Raekwon And Ghostface To Play Smaller Rock The Bells Gigs

So you saw the lineup for this year’s Rock the Bells and your jaw instantly hit the floor. I know, mine did, too. That was, of course, until I saw that it’s only coming to four U.S. cities, none of which are close to where I’m residing (Raleigh, N.C., if you must know). Guerilla Union — the folks behind Rock the Bells — recognized that, though, and have since partnered with House of Blues Entertainment to create a smaller, intimate two-part tour featuring acts on the festival roster.

And in case you were worried about who they picked for the jaunt, don’t be. Seriously. One part of the tour features Raekwon and Ghostface Killah performing Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and Mobb Deep performing The Infamous. As for the second part, Mos Def and Talib Kweli will tackle their Black Star album in its entirety. These two parts of the tour will run simultaneously at varying venues.
