In the future (on January 22, to be exact), an album entitled In the Future will be released via Jagjaguwar Records. It will be the second full-length from Canadian psych-rock juggernaut Black Mountain. It will be followed by an extensive tour, the beginnings of which we told you about back here. (Quick note: the Seattle show is now scheduled for January 31 at Neumo's with Yeasayer, MGMT, and Howlin' Rain supporting; all other of the previously reported West Coast dates feature only Howlin' Rain opening.) Plenty of other great opening acts will accompany Black Mountain along the trek, including Bon Iver and Blood on the Wall.
