Pitchfork TV premiered its umpteenth TV show this week, calling this one +1, a show that will feature performance footage and intimate interviews backstage. In this first episode, they have a goofy interview with Jared Swilley and Cole Alexander of Black Lips, who talk getting Vitamin B shots in their ass (all the rock stars do it), how they started performing, and then overestimate how many people go to see Christina Aguilera concerts. Then they proecced to play "Bad Kids" before melting Webster Hall's speakers in a feeback and smashed instrument explosion. It can't replicate the disaster of seeing Black Lips live, but it's close.
Black Lips' Arabia Mountain is out on June 7. [P4K]
