Black Lips, Brian Jonestown Massacre Playing Austin Psych Fest 2012

The Austin Psych Fest has been confirmed for its fifth year and it all goes down April 27-29 at Emo's East & Beauty Ballroom. Apparently the Black Angels, who curate the festival, chose that venue for the event after playing there on New Year's Even with the Wooden Shjips. As you might expect, both of those bands are on the lineup for this year's Psych Fest along with the likes of Black Lips, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Woods, the Telescopes(!), Prince Rama, and Sun Araw.

A limited amount of weekend passes are on sale right now for $100 at Austin Psych Fest and Emo's Austin. They'll increase to $120 on Feb. 1. More artists will be announced in early March along with daily schedules and daily tickets for $45. You can view the currently announced lineup below.
