Black Kids might not record a second album

After getting hit hard by the Blog-lash machine, and jumping from obscurity to semi-indie-stardom, Black Kids might not record a follow-up to their hotly debated debut, Partie Traumatic.

"I don't know if there's going to be a second record," singer/guitarist Reggie Youngblood told Spinner. "If anything, [performing] has hindered my songwriting because I'm used to writing on my own pace, at my leisure, or while I'm supposed to be working a proper job. I don't really have time to sit down. When I'm not performing, I'm usually really tired and just want to sleep."

Youngblood may just want to take time off, but he’s got a bunch of dates with some Virgins to tend to. But who could blame him for wanting to step out of the game? [Spinner]
