His partner in crime Dan Auerbach already went solo, so now it's Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney's turn--he has provided a psychedelic and sparse backing track for an ad promoting McSweeney's release of Be a Nose, a collection of private drawings from Art Spiegelman (who comics geeks will know as the author of Maus, one of the best graphic novels of all time, and the first to win a Pulitzer. He also created the Garbage Pail Kids). The ad features animation of some of Spiegelman's drawings, as the bass and distorted guitar drone on behind it.
