The Black Keys recently sat down for a lengthy interview with MTV in Germany, and they dropped a lot of knowledge about their career, their new video for "Gold on the Ceiling," and about their other various music videos.
But the biggest news item from the interview is the band talking about Lana Del Rey and other buzz bands that have come up and disappeared in the time since they started in the early 2000s. It's interesting to me that they were thinking about bands coming up above them when they were a little overlooked band a few years back. It's also good to hear no one at Nonesuch has ever told them what to do. Watch the interview portion about LDR below. The rest is at MTV.
