The Black Keys, Cat Power, and Son Volt are among a handful of bands lined-up to do a tribute to Woody Guthrie and John Steinbeck in San Francisco on September 20. The concert, titled “A Tribute to John Steinbeck, Woody Guthrie, and the American Spirit” will take place at the Sleep Train Pavilion at Concord in San Francisco. Proceeds will benefit Food Bank of Contra Cosa.
Henry Rollins and Sheryl Crow are also scheduled to appear. [NME]
